This product is a chess game board tabletop with inclusive characteristics. The design was developed based on the notion of adaptability for different player’s needs. The game board table top and pieces were designed, keeping in mind players who may have arthritis and arthrosis, which create difficulties for these users to position their hands and grab game pieces easily. The game pieces were designed with textures and different shapes so that they could be recognized easily through tactile sensation. My project aims to create an inclusive environment where users can enjoy it celebrating different players’ abilities.
